This device generates power by combining two light nuclei to form a single heaver one, most commonly two hydrogen isotopes, though others can be used.

It releases more energy for the same mass than Fission and produces no radioactive waste, also Fusion Plasma is highly conductive and therefore good for energy transmission, and its high energy level makes it useful as a weapon and for propulsion (see plasma drive).

Two main forms of this technology exist, such reactors come in the form of large fusion power cores and then the smaller fusion batteries which are commonly referred to as energy cells.
